Safe Home Products' privacy statement demonstrates our firm commitment to our customers' privacy.
The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website:
Introduction
We may use Personally Identifiable Information (your name, e-mail address,
street address, telephone number) subject to the terms of this privacy policy.
Please note this policy applies only to information collected by
SafeHomeProducts.com online and does not impact information collected or used by
Safe Home Products or its affiliates through other means.
How we gather information from users.
How we collect and store information depends on the which page you visit, the
activities in which you elect to participate ,and the services provided. You can
visit many pages on our site without providing any information. Other pages may
prompt you to provide information, such as when you register for access to
portions of our site, sign up for our newsletters or purchase products from our site.
Like most Web sites, SafeHomeProducts.com also collects information automatically
and through the use of electronic tools that may be transparent to our
visitors. For example, we may log the name of your Internet Service Provider or
use "cookie" technology. Among other things, the cookie may store your login information,
sparing you from having to re-enter that information each
time you visit. As we adopt additional technology, we may also gather information through
other means. In certain cases, you can choose not to provide us with information,
for example by setting your browser to refuse to accept cookies. Those actions may limit your ability to access
certain portions of the site or may require you to re-enter your user name and
password. In addition, we may not be able to customize the site's features
according to your preferences.
What we do with the information we collect.
Aggregated Information
Aggregated Information
(information that does not personally identify you) may be used in many ways.
For example, we may combine information about your usage patterns with
similar information obtained from other users to learn which pages are visited
the most or what features or products are most attractive. Aggregated Information may
occasionally be shared with business partners, but cannot
be used to contact you individually.
Personally Identifiable Information
We also collect Personally Identifiable Information on SafeHomeProducts.com to process e-commerce transactions.
This information may also be used to communicate with
you by regular mail about products and services offered by
Safe Home Products, or by email via our opt-in newsletter.
Third Parties
We will not share your personally identifiable information with any third party
except as described below, or as otherwise required by law:
- Safe Home Products licenses services from Authorize.net, to provide our customers with a secure order entry process.
Our web pages receive encrypted information from a customer's browser using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
Then our servers communicate with Authorize.net via a secure SSL protocol to verify and process credit card and electronic check transactions.
Once a transaction is completed, Safe Home Products does not retain your credit card or check account
information. However, Authorize.net may retain this information per its agreements with credit card and banking institutions.

All orders with a valid email address receive an email from us indicating
the order was received. Certain e-mail providers may automatically block receipt of this e-mail unless the customer gives permission.
Authorize.net may send you a second email confirming your credit card was charged.
Many completed orders with a valid email address also receive an email from Safe Home Products when the order ships.
Some orders may require additional correspondence to complete the ordering process.
- Occasionally, customers order items that are temporarily out of stock. In these situations we often
ask the warehouse to ship the orders directly to our customers. In these cases we fax the drop
shipper a copy of the Packing Slip for the shipment. This Packing Slip contains ship to name, address,
telephone, and product information. No price or credit card information is ever displayed on a Packing
Slip. We require our suppliers to adhere to our privacy policy as it applies to our customers.

We provide a free quarterly e-mail newsletter to any visitor to our web site who chooses to subscribe
via the sign up mechanism located on our home page. Safe Home Products licenses the software that maintains
this mailing list, including allowing users to subscribe and unsubscribe, from Microsoft bCentral. The email
addresses for newsletter subscribers are stored on bCentral servers solely for the purpose of providing this

Email addresses provided for the newsletter service will not be sold or knowingly provided to any third party
other than Microsoft bCentral.
- Personally Identifiable Information collected by SafeHomeProducts.com may also be
used for other purposes including but not limited to site administration and
troubleshooting. Certain third parties who provide technical support for the
operation of our site (our Web hosting service for
example) may access such information.
Other
As we continue to develop our business, we may sell, buy, merge or partner with
other companies or businesses. In such transactions, user information may be
among the transferred assets. We may also disclose your information in response
to a court order, at other times when we believe we are reasonably required to
do so by law, in connection with the collection of amounts you may owe to us,
and/or whenever we deem it appropriate or necessary to give such information to
law enforcement authorities. Please note we may not provide you with notice
prior to disclosure in such cases.
Affiliated sites, linked sites and advertisements.
Safe Home Products respects the privacy of our users. However, during your visit to our site you may link to, or view as part of a frame on a SafeHomeProducts.com page, certain content that is actually created or hosted by a third party. Also, through SafeHomeProducts.com you may be introduced to, or be able to access, information, Web sites, advertisements or features offered by other parties. Safe Home Products is not responsible for the actions or policies of such third parties. You should check the applicable privacy policies of those third parties when providing information on a feature or page operated by a third party.
While on our site, our business partners (e.g. paid keyword search engines) may use cookies
or other technology to attempt to identify some of your
preferences or retrieve information about you. For example, some of our
advertising is served by third parties and may include cookies that enable the
advertiser to determine whether you have seen a particular advertisement
before. Through features available on our site, third parties may use cookies
or other technology to gather information. Safe Home Products does not control
this technology or the resulting information and is not responsible
for any actions or policies of such third parties.
Children.
Safe Home Products does not knowingly collect or solicit Personally
Identifiable Information from or about children under 13 except as permitted by
law. If we discover we have received any information from a child under 13 in
violation of this policy, we will delete that information immediately. If you

changes. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be

was collected.
Governing law.
This policy and the use of this Site are governed by Iowa law. Any claim
related to the Site or this policy shall be brought in a federal or state court
in Iowa City, IA within one year after the claim arises. You agree no such
claim may be brought as a class action. Users of SafeHomeProducts.com consent to
the jurisdiction and venue of such court as the most convenient and appropriate
for the resolution of disputes concerning this policy. Safe Home Products is
controlled, operated and administered entirely within the United States. If you
are located outside the United States, please note the information you provide
to us will be transferred to the United States. You hereby consent to this
transfer.
In the event case of any conflict between the terms of this policy and the
terms of any electronic or machine readable privacy policy (for example, a P3P
electronic privacy policy), the terms of this written policy shall control.
