offers the same kit for a fraction of the price. Consider that a single squeegee
costs US$8 to US$10 at the local hardware store. And what does a bottle of blue
"Windex" cost these days?.
- The eight piece kit includes three plush, durable micro-fiber cleaning covers (14,
10, and 6 inches long), three squeegee blades (16, 12 and 8 inches long), an expandable
plastic cleaning cover holder, and a screw-tight metal blade holder. The squeegee
piggybacks on the cover handle so, if you are truly coordinated, you can wash and
squeegee at the same time. For tight corners, separate the units. This unit does
NOT fit a standard sized pole. It will NOT take a screw in extension. Purchase OKO
window washing units for standard poles. (OKO does not accept a screw in extension
pole.)
- For best results, hand or machine-wash the covers first. (Remember to wash with
non-linting fabrics.) Then, size cover and holder for the window. Dunk cover in
a bucket of clean tap water. The cover should be wet but not dripping wet. Scrub
the window and squeegee with appropriate sized squeegee head. Use a micro-fiber
cloth to wipe window edges if necessary. Note: The Micro-fiber cover works best
when saturated with water so be careful if you decide to clean interior windows.
When you are finished, launder the covers. Can be used with diluted window solution,
ammonia solution, baby shampoo solution, etc.
