Why it Works
CatStop
1.  Unlike many pest deterrents that operate continuously, the CatStop unit waits for the animal to come into its range before activating, thereby creating a more startling ef fect.
2.  Powerful burst of ultrasonic sound startles the cat.
3.   The cat equates the location with the unpleasant occur rence.
4.   The cat avoids the location in the future.

1.  Internal sensors detect the warm body of the cat as it en­ters into the CatStop’s field of view.
2.  The unit triggers a 2 second ultrasonic burst of sound.

Extension Stake
Battery:
1.  Remove the battery door.
2.  Install a fresh 9 volt alkaline battery.
3.  Close the battery door.
Power Adaptor :
1.  Plug AC Adaptor into an outlet
2.  Plug power jack into the CatStop unit.
^ Wait 60 seconds, the Cat Stop is now ready to protect.

does not come on.

1.  Push the stake into the ground.
2.  Attach the Cat Stop unit to the mounting stake.
3.  Use the extension stake if more height is needed; snap together to lock.
4.  Twist and pull apart stakes to unlock.

I.R. viewing angle = 80 degrees, two horizontal vertical angles 0 and 12
degrees.
Detection range is up to 20 feet.
Area of protection is 330 square feet.
Battery life = up to 4,900 activations (20 per day = 245 days).
Output stabilization = less than 3 dB reduction in SPL down to 5.5 volts.
I.R. sensor warm up time = 60 seconds.
Power supply = 9 volt battery (alkaline only ) or 12 V/AC.

Note: Some white cats, older cats and exotic breeds are by nature hard of hearing in the upper hearing range and may not be affected.

1.  Maximum mounting height is 30.48 cm or 12”.
2.  Use the template below to locate position of screw holes.
3.  Drive in Screws (provided) leaving a ¼ “ (4mm) gap.
4.  Line up screw heads with key holes.
5.  Hang the CatStop! unit using the keyholes on the back of the unit.
