Measuring your mattress and Box Spring for the proper size encasement is extremely critical. If you have an encasement that is not the correct size, it can reduce the effectiveness of the encasement or cause it to tear.

Below you will see detailed instructions along with pictures that describe step by step the proper way to measure your mattress and box spring. Following these steps carefully will insure that you order the right size encasement. You don't want the encasement to be too big or too small, instead you want to order the size encasement that will best fit your mattress and box spring.

As you are making your way through the measurement process, please fill out this section with your measurements, and be sure to round up to the nearest whole inch. Once you have all of your measurements, please return to www.cooperpest.com/encasements.asp to begin ordering your Mattress and Box Spring Encasements.

To Measure Your Mattress and Box Spring we recommend using a Tape Measure.

Step 1: Remove all of the linens from your Mattress and Box Spring

To get a proper measurement of your mattress and box spring, you should remove all of the linens, including any mattress pads or dust covers you may already have.

Step 2: HEIGHT Measure the Height of your Mattress (Round up to the nearest whole inch.)

To measure the height of your mattress, measure from the bottom of the mattress (where it rests on the box spring) to the top of the mattress (where you lay). If your mattress has a Pillow Top, be sure to include that in your measurement. Repeat process for Box Spring.

Step 3: LENGTH Measure the Length of your Mattress (Round up to the nearest whole inch.)

To measure the length of your mattress or box spring, measure from the top of the mattress (at the head of the bed) to the bottom of the mattress (at the foot of the bed).

Step 4: WIDTH Measure the Width of your Mattress (Round up to the nearest whole inch.)

To measure the width of your mattress or box spring, measure from the left side of your mattress, across to the right side.

Step 5: Repeat Steps 2, 3 & 4 for the Box Spring . The measurements will be different.
